Delete Your xaround Account

xaround is made by S Rank Sdn. Bhd. You can delete your xaround account at any time, from the app or by email. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the App

On Android and iPhone:

  1. Open xaround and go to your Profile.
  2. Open Settings, then Account Information.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

Without the App

If you no longer have the app, email fikri@sranksoftware.com from the email address you sign in to xaround with, with the subject "Delete my xaround account" and your username. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, tell us your username and we will confirm through that address. We reply to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days.

What Is Deleted

  • Your account information: email address, username, display name, bio and profile picture.
  • Posts and replies on your profile.
  • Your Direct Messages and their media, in both directions.
  • Your follows and follow requests, likes, bookmarks, hidden posts and blocks.
  • Your notification settings and the push registrations of your devices.
  • Your student verification email.
  • Your product-analytics records.

What Is Kept

  • Posts and replies you made in communities stay, anonymized: your name is removed and they can no longer be linked to you. Anonymous posts stay as they are, and could never be linked to you.
  • Snapshots of content reported to us, for up to 90 days, for safety review.
  • Crash reports, for up to 90 days. They never contain your email address or name.
  • A one-way fingerprint of your email address and sign-in method, never the address itself, kept so a deleted account cannot be recreated with the same sign-in.

Deleting your account does not cancel xaround Premium. Apple and Google bill subscriptions, so cancel yours in the App Store or Google Play first. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
