hi everyone,
i requested @zyepher to design this last year, specifically for the girlies and queens of xaround 💐 i personally love it.

introducing zyebelle.

she’s here to explore, learn, connect, and grow.

she’s here to remind every student, especially young women that being smart, ambitious, outspoken, and curious is something to be proud of. 🌷

she’s here to remind every girl that her voice matters, her ideas are important and heard of, and there’s always room for her to take up space. in the world and everywhere she goes. and especially… here!

xaround v2.3.0 is here! You can finally message each other on xaround.

Direct message is the one feature people have asked for the most. This update also brings videos, polls, "For You" feed, and a new way to get your Verified Student badge right in the app.

What's New:
1) Direct Message: send message to anyone on campus from their profile or the new Messages button on Home. A first message arrives as a request they can accept or decline. Send photos, GIFs, videos, voice notes, or view-once media. React, reply to a specific message, fix a typo with Edit, or unsend. You can see when someone is typing and when they have read your message, and turn on disappearing messages for any chat.

2) Video: add a video to your posts and replies, or record one from the camera. Trim it and turn the sound off before posting. Videos play as you scroll, and you can save them to your gallery.

3) Poll: ask a question with up to four choices and keep it open from 5 minutes to 7 days. Everyone who voted gets the final results.

4) Premium subscription: support xaround and ge

New Upcoming App Update! ✨

After collecting feedback from many of you, I realized one thing clearly: you’ll feel more connected when you can see who’s already in the app.

This weekend, I’m working on a new app update that lets everyone see verified student count in your campus by tapping the progress bar or “99/500”.

This update should be available by Tuesday night, along with fixes for several reported bugs 👌
